How does the free tier work?

The free tier includes up to 10 check-ins a week on your busiest session, with no card required and no expiry. If you need more, subscribing gives your church unlimited check-ins.

If you go over 10

The first week over the limit starts a 2-week grace period. Check-in stays unlimited during that time, and the banner in the app shows when grace ends.

After two consecutive weeks over the limit, online check-in is capped at 10 per session each week, starting in the third week. Families who arrive after a session reaches the cap see Check-in is full for this week and are asked to speak to a volunteer.

You can subscribe to remove the cap. Families check themselves in on their own phones, so to record a family yourself, use your paper backup.

Important

Children checked in on paper won't appear on the room dashboard or in the room report. Keep the paper sheet as their attendance and pickup record.

How check-ins are counted

A week runs from Sunday to Saturday. Rooms opened for the same session share a check-in total, and rooms opened without a session share another total. Your busiest session determines whether you've gone over the free limit.

Families check in together. If a session has room for one more check-in and a family brings two children, both can check in. The cap applies to the next family.

Returning below the limit

A full week with fewer than 10 check-ins on your busiest session clears the cap and the consecutive over-limit weeks, and so does a week with no check-ins. While you're capped, each session can take its first 10 check-ins again when the week resets.
